(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The two-day conference began in the presence of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Husseini, at IRIB’s conference hall.
Addressing the audience, Husseini asserted that a society based on Mahdism doctrine is an ethical society where justice, welfare, progress, knowledge and safety prevail.
He said that those living in such a society are innovative people who believe in God and have a strong constant relation with him.
He further added that the society should pave the way for the emergence of Imam Mahdi (12th Shia imam believed to be the savior of the world).
He dismissed the idea that expecting Imam Mahdi means idling around and doing nothing; rather, he argued, those who really expect the emergence of Imam Mahdi should made every effort to prepare the society for the emergence.
